Frage Leaking heating?

(Sorry for posting in English)

The heating on our new 540D seems to have a leak.   I will take it back to the dealer, because I don't feel like going out at this time of year without heat!

But has anybody seen this before?  The van is three days old, so I wouldn't know where to start looking!

When I wipe it up, it appears again, and after a few days, the filler tank is empty.

We had a leak too when we got ours. Pipe not fixed properly. Fortunately it dripped out under the car, not inside. The dealer had to fix it.

As part of the winter pack, there is an extra heat outlet under the passenger seat, and I think the leak is coming from the pipes that go to that. There are clips connecting those pipes in the under-floor cupboard, and I think those clips may just need to be tighter. (I don't know if their position is different if you have the driver's seat on the left!)

This is good, because it's very easy to do - almost the only place where the pipes can actually be seen! But it's going back to the dealer for testing anyway.

It would be easy to bump those clips if you were sliding something heavy into that little
