Hi Dieter,
I assume that you cleaned the level sensor from the fresh water tank inspection cap? The directional arrows on the cap show clockwise. photos.app.goo.gl/GZG5WPPtA58GyBWY6The cap is very stiff, so I want to be sure I am turning in the correct direction! Is it anticlockwise to open?
Regards,
Michael
Hi Michael
I accessed from the inspection cap. It has a normal right-hand thread. Therefore, you have to turn to the left (anticlockwise) to open. It's a little bit stiff. And yes, my level indicator is the same as yours.

Dieter
Hi Dieter, I removed the inspection cap and checked the surface condition of the probe. It was clean and the float was able to move freely up and down. I also discovered that the sensor had a hexagonal plastic nut at the top of the probe within the water tank. I am left with the possibility of an inherent defect of the sensor or an electrical wiring issue. Any thoughts?
Regards,
Michael
Hi Michael
In these case, it might be a defect or a wiring issue. Did you already check the wiring that comes out of the water tank? It seems possible, that something from inside the drawer could fall out at the backside and harm the wiring.

Dieter
Hi Dieter,
Thanks. I have now realised that to remove the sensor I need to unscrew the hexagonal nut inside the fresh water tank. Due to poor access, I am now looking for a suitable spanner or tool to loosen the nut.

Michael
