I see that this thread is a bit old, but I m hoping for a reply. Apologies for the lack of German.
I have a 2021 Columbus with a smart alternator, with 2 x 95AH Varta AGM. Replacing with one Lithium 230 AH underseat. As my Van has a smart alternator I assumed that it must have a B2B charger fitted already - or else it would fry the AGMs. But this doesn't seem to be the case. It still has the relay shown in the diagram.
Is this why my AGMs are losing capacity? I assume I just need to fit a B2B in series between the output from the relay and the battery. All appears to be earthed to chassis.
How can Westfalia not have a B2B installed or am I missing something?
